Car history: |
1) This unique Vette has been a race car all its life. Altered suspension and 2 sets of racing slicks make this incredibly fun on the track. LT1 engine with angle plug heads. Super T-10 4 speed manual transmission. Lakewood scatter shield. Racing history includes autocross and hill climb events from 1978-1984. Amsoil always used. Shifts, runs and sounds phenomenal. Headers with detachable side pipes/mufflers (for track or street). Definitely a head-turner. Soft - Bimini top that snaps on. Will need headlights installed - and taillights hooked back up to make it Street legal. Full professional roll cage. Separate oil sump and canister (holds 3 quarts of extra oil) inside car near passenger seat - so when on the track you can open up the reservoir and the car has a reserve of oil when laying into the corners. Burn out button on dash if on the drag strip. This locks the front wheels so you can heat up the rear ones. Last quarter mile was clocked at 12.8 seconds and 108 MPH ... so not designed for the drag strip - but you'll love it on any track. I've included close up photos of small scratched areas - so paint isn't perfect, but nice and glossy - and well-received at car shows. $10,600 (RnM) on April 18, 2018. |
